Keppelmann Harp Concert

Jeremy, age 17 began playing the piano when he was 5 and the harp when he was 7. In 2005 he finished 3rd in the junior division of the Lily Laskine international harp competition in Deauxville France. In 2007 he soloed with the Reno Philharmonic (the Handel concerto) in their master classic series. In 2008 he appeared on the national public radio show, From the Top and just this past October (2009) he was the principal harpist in the Nevada Opera’s presentation of Carmen.

He currently studies the harp with Linda Rollo of Saratoga California and is preparing for the USA international harp competition that will take place at the University of Indiana in Bloomington in July of 2010. This very prestigious competition involves 4 stages with nearly two hours of memorized music and a judging panel of 7 world famous musicians.

Jeremy lives with his parents Ed and Jackie and his very talented musical and athletic siblings Emilee (age 9) and Jakob (age 14). In addition to music Jeremy loves skiing, swimming, and he owns two cockatiels named Biscuit and Honey.
