Nov 23: First Student Recital

Dear Members,
The first student recital of the year will take place this coming Sunday, November 23 at 2:30 p.m. at St. Paul United Methodist Church. Please ask your students to arrive about 10 minutes ahead of time and wear appropriate performance attire - not jeans or t-shirts or tennis shoes. Please remind them that they should bow when they finish playing. All students will sit together in the front in their assigned seats. I will be there to direct them. There were 7 teachers who sent students with a total of 30 performers. Most of these pieces are beginner works and very short (1 minute or less). Should be a nice program.

I encourage all teachers to enter students in these recitals. It would be nice to have a variety of instruments and voice as well. If we have an overabundance of entries I can divide them into 2 shorter programs at 2:00 and 3:15 rather than one program at 2:30.
